Policies and procedures

Below you will find copies of our policies and procedures:

Children’s safety and the issue of safeguarding are paramount. Staff members/students ‘on duty’ and working with children are not authorised to use their mobile phones. Parents/Volunteers are not authorised to use their mobile phones within the provision, outside area, or on hand holding duty.

Cameras may be used at fundraising events, nativity, sports day and on school trips, unless enhanced safeguarding issues deems this to not be possible. We ask parents not to post images that may include other children, on the internet. Any Parents/Carers, who have concerns with regard to this issue, should approach either a staff or committee member.

For safety reasons parents are requested to notify a member of staff if anyone other than themselves will be picking up their child at the end of a session. There is a password that all parents and anyone else who is collecting a child must know. This password is changed termly.

Fees and Funding

Fees are reviewed annually and are currently £21.00 per 3 hour session for all ages. Lunch sessions are currently £7.00, which is the hourly rate of the session.

Fees will be reviewed in the Summer Term and when the Funding Fees are reviewed by Norfolk County Council.

Fees are payable every half-term in advance. Cheques should be made payable to “Stoke Holy Cross Pre-School Playgroup”. There is an option to pay by BACS and salary sacrifice schemes.

A half term’s written notice is required if your child is to leave, or change the number of sessions they will be attending, or equivalent fees will be required in lieu. No refund will be given. Fees are still due for sessions missed due to illness or family holidays.
