Our Values
Lifelong learning – We believe that early years learning provides the foundations for lifelong learning. Our team strive to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment which allows young learners the freedom to explore and learn through play whilst adhering to the OFSTED Early Years recommendations.
Working in partnership – We recognise the value of working in partnership with parents, carers and the wider community. Our committee is made up of parents and we encourage all family members to be involved in preschool through our family themed events. We operate an open-door policy where parents and carers are encouraged to come to staff members with questions, comments, concerns and ideas.
Communication
We believe that open communication between parents/carers and preschool staff is vital and operate an open door policy. For daily communication about your child’s activities we use an excellent online tool called Babydays. This online journal records all the learning and fun of children’s early years education. Babydays enables you to access your child’s learning journal at any time as well as adding stories from home. It creates a paperless systems for staff and parents.
